40´ Paxton Mitchell Units
Platform & Bucket

  • Platform unit has a 30-inch wide work platform that will extend to 27 feet. Total reach is 40 feet horizontally and 25 feet vertically.
  • Bucket units include two one-man buckets that allow 40 feet of horizontal reach and 42 feet of vertical reach.
  • All units have 270-degree rotation allowing usage from both sides of the unit.
  • All units operate from one lane and can be used over 8- foot sidewalks and 10-foot safety fences.

60´ Paxton Mitchell & Aspen Aerial Units

  • McClain’s 60-foot Units are capable of reaching 61 feet horizontally and extending down 70 feet vertically.
  • The unit has two rotating turrets which allow it to access unaccessible locations. The main turret rotates 270 degrees and the second rotates 360 degrees allowing operation from either side of the unit.
  • The telescoping hydraulic basket boom articulates 90 degrees and extends 12 feet allowing greater accessibility between and behind girders.
  • Proportional valves for smooth control and a continuous communication system.
  • All units operate from one lane allowing continued flow of traffic.

75´ Apsen Aerial Units

  • The Aspen Aerial A-75 has a horizontal reach of 75 feet beneath the bridge deck and 85 feet of vertical downward reach.
  • Overhead capabilities allow access up to 53 feet above the bridge deck.
  • The A-75 has a dual turret design that can be operated from either side of the truck, allowing access to over 10,000 square feet of underdeck area.
  • The articulating/telescopic fourth boom allows up to 16 feet of access into bridge girder systems.
  • The A-75 requires only 8 feet of space on the bridge by using special hydraulically operated suspension lockouts and an innovative dual counterweight system without the use of outriggers.
  • The 3-man bucket has a 700 lb. capacity.

7M & 9M Moog Units

Truck & Trailer Mounted Units Available

  • Horizontal working range of the telescopic platform from 10 feet up to 32 feet; operates in one lane allowing continued flow of traffic.
  • Working platform can be rotated a full 180 degrees; has a load capacity of up to 1,000 pounds; provides space for workmen and equipment; platform is 3.3’ wide.
  • Maximum lowering depths range from 18 feet to 22 feet. Built-in, hard-wired communication system maintains constant and uninterrupted communication between bridge deck and work platform.
  • On-site erection and removal; units can be fully operational within five minutes upon arrival at the job site; require just 10’ of space on bridge deck.
  • Safe, stable access to the work platform through an enclosed tower; centrally located control panel for all platform movements; built-in hydraulic drive for longitudinal movement of the complete unit.
